Housing Finance issues Request for proposal for the supply, installation and maintenance of core banking system

To meet its strategic objective, Housing Finance is seeking a core banking systems vendor to supply, install, implement and maintain a core banking system solution. Apart from core banking capabilities which is a mandatory component of this request, the solution must also cater for other business needs that are essential in mortgage and property business as captured in the Request for Proposal (RFP).

This is an exciting opportunity for the core banking system vendor who wants to partner with the leading mortgage provider in Kenya to transform the organisation. For this reason, eligibility to this request will be the vendors’ ability to provide total banking and mortgage capabilities as opposed to only channels or components of the solution.

Firms and registered entities responding to the RFP should be able to demonstrate through references, approach and profiles that they have the requisite solution, experience, capability and capacity technically, financially and operationally to execute the project.

If a vendor/supplier considers that it does not have all the expertise for the assignment, it may obtain a full range of expertise by associating with individual suppliers in a joint venture or sub consultancy as appropriate.

A mandatory non-refundable fee of USD 100 is payable by the vendor before the RFP document can be made available.
